DBH is giving all contracted hospitals a 30-day grace period, to expire 6/15/2023, while each hospital acclimates to the changes.

The following is what will/will not be permitted during the 30-day grace period:

• If hospitals miss a deadline for submission, the authorization will not automatically be denied during the first 30 days if hospitals submit the documentation as soon as possible but no longer than the 30-day grace period.
• Hospitals are still required to complete and submit required documentation; the grace period does not cover failure to submit.
• Hospitals that submit documentation to DBH in error, will be redirected to submit the documentation in Atrezzo and must do so within the 30-day grace period.
• DBH will not review any documentation for services on or after May 15, 2023.
